Copyright and takedowns

Hivemind Content Studio · updated 5 October 2026

Draft for the open beta, pending legal review. It may change before the studio leaves beta; we'll tell you when it does.

We respect intellectual property and respond to notices under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and similar laws.

Reporting infringement

Send a notice to our designated agent at legal@hivemindos.app (subject "DMCA notice"), or use the Report button in the studio. Include:

  1. your physical or electronic signature;
  2. the work you believe is infringed;
  3. where the infringing material is, specifically enough for us to find it;
  4. your contact details;
  5. a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorised by the owner, its agent or the law; and
  6. a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you're the owner or authorised to act for them.

Counter-notices

If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake, send a counter-notice to the same address with your signature, what was removed and where it was, a statement under penalty of perjury that it was removed by mistake or misidentification, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal courts for your address.

Repeat infringers

We close the accounts of people who repeatedly infringe.

Most of what's stored here is encrypted to its owner and isn't public, so takedowns mostly concern content that has been published elsewhere from the studio.
